SJ on Raven Radio Again

Here is another news story about the possible future of SJ. I of course have to wonder if even the State would have deep enough pockets to get the buildings in usable condition.

Ok, here is also a question for you folks out there. Do you want Chris and me to keep posting stuff like this? Please no anonymous post if you want to answer that question.

Marcel and Chris, I think it's wonderful that you post this kind of news. A year has gone by, and now all of a sudden things are finally starting to happen. I think there will continue to be news, and there are no doubt people all over the world wanting to stay informed. I appreciate the time you two have taken to keep everyone up to speed!!

Yes, when you have something to share put it in the blog. We appreciate both of your efforts to keep those of us, who live miles away, informed. Where else could we turn?? Thanks to you both.

As an alumni your site is the only place I get news about SJ except for kcaw. So I think you should continue this blog it is good. keep it going

Terry and I check it regularly and are glad for this news. We appreciate knowing what happens, and while you may have trouble knowing exactly what is going on, you have a better handle on it than we do since you are in Sitka. Thanks so much for your effort. Sue

Absolutely,,,, a resounding YES - please, please keep those of us who are interested but not close enough to know or hear any news informed. You both have been a blessing in your efforts to keep those of us in the lower 48 abreast and it's appreciated.
Have a joyous Christmas & a great New Year !!

We are still very interested also in the going's on of the defunct college. What will it become? Oh, and not to forget, we still have a good amount of money owed to us by the college. I can't help but wonder what Sheldon Jackson (the missionary) would think of all this.

Thank you all so very much for commenting and asking us to continue posting. I will try to keep my ear open and I will post what I hear as long as it can be substantiated.

Thanks again and Merry Christmas to all.

I rarely comment, but I always read. The links are handy.

As an SJ grad, I am glad that they are looking to do something educational with SJ. I hope they do so soon! :) It would be a shame for the property to just sit there with no use other than Hames.

Please do keep posting. It is nice to have some small way to keep in touch with everyone from SJ

I wish the refund procedures weren't confidential, so we could talk about those here. That whole situation is pretty funny/stupid.

Maybe when it's over we can post the good parts and all share the laughs.

It sounds like progress is going to stay slow, and actually getting the money would of course be a miracle.
