I noted this morning that KTUU TV in Anchorage has done a news story on SJC. Go to the link below and then read the story and/ or click on the video links in the upper left hand corner.
KTUU TV NEWS
There should be another video added to this news site tonight too.

Another shallow analysis.
If you plan a capital campaign from big donors you have to show a positive picture. This article will help but most big donors do their own research and then this pie in the sky will explode in someone's face.
All:
I thought the report was oblivious to the issues surrounding the college. Dobler was dancing around with a strange optimism that I feel didn't correspond to reality. As a former student at SJC, I still love the campus and it was hard to see the windows boarded up. To see Dan Goodness' heroic work is an inspiration--he at least keeps some life on the campus. To see the campus in such a state causes me such grief. I had hoped in the future to come up and see SJC--I hope that at least they can preserve the historic buildings and the chapel.
Does anyone know if the chapel is still being used? Hopefully church groups are using it. I had many fond memories of the chapel.

I think that everyone should re-read 60 Years in Sitka--Yaw. I was amazed at the struggle the school fought through. It is not outside of reason for the school to reopen in some capacity. Hope differed makes the heart sad, but what else do we have?

Chris or Marcel, you may want to delete this comment (Kazahn), the blog is a fake and its linked to a virus. I have seen it on other sites as well.
Does anyone know where I can get official transcripts from?
I just got one from http://alaskaadvantage.state.ak.us/
