Completely off the current topic, but has anyone else had collection issues related to SJC? My hubby and i paid everything that wasn't covered by scholarships out-of-pocket, and just today we get this cryptic message from some terrible scare-tactic collection agency, Allied Interstate (who were so stupid as to leave our phone number on the answering machine as the callback number...) Worried about a collection agency calling when we KNOW we're on time with EVERYTHING, i got my credit reports. Suddenly i have a credit charge i don't remember ever taking out (on 5/2008, as far as i can tell) and after some digging found SJC associated with it... Do you know of anyone else having this problem?
With the suspension of academic programs and the termination of nearly all staff, Sheldon Jackson College is undergoing a period of serious tumult. What will happen to the 130 year old institution? This site will attempt to keep folks informed.

Allied sounds like a scam operation.
If Allied is a scam operation that woul dmake it just like SJ.

Allied is very much real and I am currently dealing with them for the SJ bill I still say that I do not owe.
If I were you, I would get ahold of the ACPSE and ask them about this. It seems BS to me that SJ is trying to scam former students out of more money.
